Bobby has been writing since he was a kid.
First, with a tape recorder. Later pen and paper. Sometimes with a camera.

He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in economics, wrote for The Daily Nexus, and studied with screenwriting instructor Paul Lazarus where his script “Somebody Else’s Dream” won a Corwin-Metropolitan Theatres Writing Award.

Professional training in Los Angeles included: Lew Hunter (UCLA Masterclass), The Howard Fine Acting Studio, Robert McKee, Jim Pasternak, and courses at the at the American Film Institute.

The Crime of Danny Segal received its first public reading at FirstStage in Hollywood and was produced in Pasadena and the American Theatre of Actors in New York.

Dinner At Grandpa’s was launched at the old Wooden-O Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Oinkaroo, won a coveted Quarterfinalist spot in the Nicholl Fellowship Competition, was a semi-finalist in Chesterfield, and top 50 in America’s Best. 

Bobby has also created more than 50 mini-documentaries for VineStories.com, featuring growers and winemakers in Oregon, Washington, and California.
